Where your money goes
Bottles Back is a paid service with a receipt. Every month your plan pays for three things.
A reward for each bottle
People who return bottles at Sparklomats get points and partner rewards in the Sparklo app.
The machines
Sparklomats in shopping centres, supermarkets and residential areas, counting every bottle.
Transport to recyclers
Collected PET goes to recycling plants instead of a landfill.

An empty bottle is worth nothing
Where there is no deposit system, nobody pays you to return a bottle. Sparklo machines do, and your plan pays for that reward.
Questions
What exactly am I paying for?
A paid service with a receipt: the collection of a stated number of plastic bottles, a public record and a page that adds them up.
When are my bottles collected?
Your record is issued when you pay, and the bottles on it are funded. Sparklo machines in the programme country then collect them, and the count comes from the machines themselves.
Where are the machines?
In shopping centres, supermarkets and residential areas in 10 countries. The machines page lists them by country.
Can I stay anonymous?
Yes. Choose your full name, initials or "An anonymous funder". Volume and date are always public, and the country once collection of the record starts.
Can I give it as a gift?
Not yet. For now the record goes to the person who pays.
Can I cancel?
Any time, in your account. Records you already have stay online, and we refund within 14 days on request.
Does this make me plastic neutral?
No. You fund the collection of a stated number of bottles, and your record says exactly that. We do not certify anyone as plastic neutral.
